This Will was presented in Court by Benjamin Crocker 
the Executor therein named proved by the Oaths of William 
Bynum & Alexander Watson two of the witnesses thereto 
and Ordered to be Recorded And on the Motion of the said 
Executor who made Oath according to Law Certificate was granted 
him for obtaining a Probat thereof in due form giving Security

In the Name of God Amen I Margaret Braddy 
of Southampton County in Virginia being sick in Body but 
of perfect sense and memory thanks be do make Constitute and Ordain this 
my Last Will & Testament in manner and form following 
Revoking and making void all other Wills heretofore made 
by me and as Foleth [sic] all such Temporal Estate it hath 
pleased Almighty God to bless upon me I give and 
Dispose as followeth

Item I give to my Son Arthur Crafford five shillings Current 
Money. Item I give to my Daughter Martha Philips 
one shilling Current Money. I give to my Daughter 
Elizabeth Hays five shillings and on pair of Stilliards. 
Item I give to my Daughter Mary Crafford two Cows and 
a Heifer one feather Bed & the Furniture belonging 
Do it and two Iron Pots and all the Pewter I have and one 
frying pan and one small Brass Kettle and two Chests - 
I also give to my Daughter Mary Crafford the use of my 
Plantation whereon I now live and the Land belonging 
to it during her Natural Life and after her decease 
to my Son Henry Crafford and his Heirs forever and 
fifty Acres adjoining to it in Carolina to Henry Crafford 
I also give the Remainder of my Estate to my son Henry
Crafford and do appoint him whole and sole executor of 
this my Last Will and Testament Witness my Hand 
and Seal the 29th Day of July 1750.

At a Court held for the County of Southampton on Thursday the 8th Day of November 1750. 
This Will was presented in Court by Henry Crafford the Exor 
therein named proved by the Oath of Arthur Pitman a Witnesses 
thereto and Ordered to be Recorded And on the Motion of the 
said Executor who made Oath according to Law Certificate was 
granted him for obtaining a Probat thereof in due form.
